Andrew is Brisbane based with interests in property and internet businesses. He began to question the influence of the state on personal and economic freedom during his university years after a friend encouraged him to read Milton Friedman’s “Free to Choose”. Later he discovered Ayn Rand’s “Atlas Shrugged” which he considers to be one of the most profound books he has read. It credits Rand’s writing to his understanding that big government is not only ineffective and counter-productive but manifestly unethical.
Andrew is a director of a number of private companies and also holds positions in two prominent community organisations:
Australian Institute for Progress (AiP)
Role: Director of Projects
Liberal Democratic Party (LDP)
Role: State President (Qld)
Andrew is also an avid micro lender/donor to third-world businesses through kiva.org, a not for profit organisation that empowers small third-world entrepreneurs with interest free micro loans.
